Chamber Membership Directories are going to print on Jan. 1; will you be in it?

If you are not a member of the Chamber of Commerce but would like to be, please call or stop by the Chamber at 300 Connally St. before Dec. 31 to make sure that you will be in the 2012 Membership Directory that is distributed to thousands and thousands of people each year.

If you are a member of the Chamber but some of your information has changed throughout the year, please check our website at www.sulphursprings-tx.com and verify that your information is correct. If changes need to be made, please contact us before Dec. 31 so that we may correct your information!


Are your business cards and brochures on display at the Chamber of Commerce?

If you are a member of the Hopkins County Chamber of Commerce, we will gladly display your business cards or brochures in our office so that all of our visitors may see them. If you would like more information, call us at 903-885-6515 or just drop them off at our office at 300 Connally St.


Chamber of Commerce Banquet nominations

Many awards are presented at the Chamber of Commerce Membership Banquet (February 9, 2012). Nominations are being accepted for:

Want to be on America’s Got Talent? Here’s your chance

I just received a phone call from the casting agent for America’s Got Talent, and she wanted me to share with you that America’s Got Talent will be hosting auditions on Jan. 14 and 15 from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the Austin Convention Center in Austin. You can go to AFTauditions.com to register for the event!


Ribbon cutting for HSS Home Security

Join us for a ribbon cutting ceremony for HSS Home Security at noon on Jan. 10. The ceremony will be held at the Chamber offices at 300 Connally St.


Support 412Kids!

Several children from Sulphur Springs are involved in a mission project to help provide clean water for the kids and families of Chadirac, Haiti and they need your help. You may purchase an adorable book called “Clean Water Elirose,” written by Ariah Fine and illustrated by Don Robb, for only $5 — or more if you would like. The books are available at the Chamber of Commerce, Plain ‘n’ Fancy Sandwich Shoppe, Guaranty Bond Bank and City National Bank.

Chamber office holiday hours

The Chamber of Commerce will be open Dec. 27-29, then will be closed on Dec. 23, 26 and 30, and on Jan. 2. The office will re-open on Jan. 3.
